DTF: from transfer to fabric
DTF stands for Direct to Film. The artwork is first printed onto a special carrier and then transferred to the fabric using heat. The finished artwork forms a printed area on the fabric. Its feel depends in part on the artwork size, coverage and specific version.

02
DTG: directly onto the garment
DTG stands for Direct to Garment. Ink is printed directly onto the prepared fabric and then cured. The process is used for suitable textiles and artwork requirements. The planned method for a model is stated in its product information.

03
The base colour is part of the design
With a placed print, the selected fabric colour remains a visible part of the design. A light logo on a dark background looks different from dark artwork on a light T-shirt. Ensure enough contrast and check that details are visible from a normal viewing distance.
04
Choose the artwork size deliberately
A small chest logo, large back print and sleeve design serve different purposes. Large solid areas affect the feel more than open, less densely printed designs. Position and size should suit the cut and your expectations for a coherent look.
05
Which method suits our team?
Choose more than just a process name. The actual base product, your artwork and the result you want are what matter. Different methods are listed for different Basic models. The model page shows the intended finish; we discuss individual requirements with you in advance.

Caring for printed areas
Wash decorated garments gently, inside out and with similar colours. Avoid bleach and do not iron directly over the artwork. Always follow the care instructions for the specific decorated version. A suitable care routine cannot be inferred from the DTF or DTG label alone.
